Always a friendly welcome at Straid. Our dog has to come every month, which could be a challenge, but he actually gets excited to come. All the staff make him so welcome. That's a big advantage for any pet owner.

Yvette has always been so good with our dogs. Even the ones who are terrified of the vet usually, really like her. I would highly recommend her to all my friends. Receptionists are very nice and helpful too.

The staff are great at making you feel at ease, receptionist very friendly and whatever vet we see is great with Sushi who is not the friendliest cat but is always on her best behaviour when she is in the consulting room.

I cannot recommend Straid Vets in Beaconsfield highly enough. The whole procedure from phoning for an appointment, arriving at Reception and treatment by the Vet is both professional and warm. Fears are swiftly allayed in what can be an anxious visit. I prize both their skills as vets and their client interaction in Reception.

I’m so grateful for the care this veterinary practice has given my 14-year-old whippet. He has arthritis and can be a little anxious these days, but the team always treat him with such gentleness and patience. They take the time to explain his treatment options clearly, check in on how he’s coping at home, and never make us feel rushed. The vets are incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful in managing his condition, and the reception team are always warm and welcoming. It makes such a difference to feel that your elderly dog is genuinely seen and cared for. Thanks to their support, he’s comfortable, happy, and still enjoying life — and I couldn’t ask for more. Truly an exceptional practice and one I recommend wholeheartedly.
