Great reviews so I thought they would be good but royally messed up the paperwork for my Spaniel to travel to France by boat. Resulted in some VERY stressful hours at Portsmouth Harbour and almost resulted in not being able to travel. Admitted mistakes but refused a refund - surprisingly poor customer service from the Clinical Director - will. be transferring to another practice.

Over decades, and Otto is our fourth dog under the care of Wheelhouse, they have proved to be conscientious in every aspect of pet care. Susanne, one of the nurses, has the Midas touch when it comes to puting pets (and their owners at ease)

The Wheelhouse looked after my two black labs until they recently died. So I wanted to take a moment to share my experiences, which I hope will be of value to other people considering using their services. From the outset, when they were puppies, I have used the Wheelhouse Plan. I have nothing but positive words for this. It is comprehensive, value for money and a huge comfort to know that it is there is a no quibble support when your dog is unwell. I would certainly use it again in an instant. More importantly, I would like to tell you about the amazing team who offer a huge welcome and amazing support through all stages. Whilst one of my dogs was relatively trouble free to the end, the other was a little more tricky, and I could certainly be described a 'regular'. At all points, in all situations, the team of nurses, vets and reception staff made everything easy. So kind, so thoughtful and always going the extra mile. At the end, Alice even came in to help me on her day off. This is a direct reflection of the quality of their commitment, quality of service and genuine love for what they do. An absolutely fantastic Vets. Friendly, professional, have very good operating hours and I’m always able to get an appointment quickly. Unlike her Vets I genuinely trust their diagnosis and recommendations. They’re probably not the cheapest Vets around, but I wouldn’t want the cheapest vet looking after my animals. And having said that, they’re also perfectly willing to save you money where possible, for instance by writing you a prescription for medication rather than selling it to you direct which is more expensive. Honesty goes a long way.
