So nice to see the local monopoly by "the other firm" being broken. Service and care is excellent, and everything feels much more personal and less corporate than the other one. Prices are possibly a little lower too, and on-site parking is dead easy.

I've had a number of vets over the past 14 years with George, some are bad, some are good and some are Pet Practice in Amersham. George previously had cancer and we've excised a number of lumps over the years, only one of them was cancerous but it's good to keep an eye on things, george had this lump for the past 10 years but, in the last 3 months it grew, and then he starting fussing with it. Biting it, scratching, causing it to bleed and weap so it had to come off. Come to yesterday which was surgery day; I've never really been treated as kindly, empthetically and been comforted quite like this before. I broke down as george was being sedated and they looked after me wonderfully, they let me help keep him calm whilst we put a line in so it was safer to sedate him and we could use less medication, they updated me throughout as I waited in the waiting room and they offered me water and other bits to keep me well. Honestly, I just didn't expect this from what I would consider to be a "franchise" vets, you get them at the vast majority\if not all Pets Corner shops. But honestly, I can't thank you enough for the work you've done, you've been outstanding. As for the surgery, they discussed all the options, how we wanted to progress with the surgery (he's 14 so if they found cancer underneath, do we remove it all\amputate the leg or leave it), the stiches are beautiful, really lovely work and he was moving really well this morning. Oh the proceedure was completed in under 20 minutes which is great for the animal as they can bring them out of sedation, quick, efficient and accurate! Thanks again and hopefully see you just for vaccinations :)

As any pet owner knows, leaving your beloved animal for a procedure is nerve-wracking, but the team at Pet Practice made me feel completely at ease. Every single person, from the receptionists to the nurses and the vet, was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely compassionate. ​They took the time to explain the procedure and aftercare thoroughly, and treated Matisse with such tenderness and care. He has recovered beautifully, which I have no doubt is down to the skill and dedication of your team. It gives me incredible peace of mind to know he is looked after by such a wonderful practice. I can’t thank this vet practice enough for the care they gave my dog during her surgery. From the moment we walked in, the team were incredibly informative, kind, and clearly committed to doing what’s best for both pets and their owners. They explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions with patience and compassion, which really helped ease my worries. The level of care they showed was exceptional, and it’s clear they genuinely love what they do. My dog absolutely loves them too, which says it all! The costs were also very reasonable, and it never felt like they were pushing anything unnecessary — just focused on helping however they could. I’m so happy I chose to bring my dog here. We felt completely looked after from start to finish, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
