The story so far …. Rosie the chunky Yorkshire terrier presented with siezure's early in Jan 26 I was recommended by my vet to go see the Ralph as in their opinion they are the best for Neurology so away we went for the appointment with included bloods mri and neurologist examination Rosie stayed overnight then had all the test in the 12 hours she was there
The mri showed a brain tumour that they discussed with me in detail explained all options were absolutely excellent I decided to opt for a course of radiotherapy that she has just returned home from her last session we will be returning to the Ralph in following months to keep an eye on her progress if you find yourself with a sick animal don’t hesitate to go go see these remarkable people
Absolutely incredible staff and facilities. These are the best hands that your pet could be in.
In January of this year our dog, Roo, got hit by a car. We were referred to The Ralph and Roo dog spent a week there in intensive care. She underwent surgery to fix her hernia and a ruptured bile duct. From the every moment we arrived we knew that she was in good hands. The receptionist was calm in the face of my hysterics and made sure we were seen immediately. We handed over Roo to one of the nurses and as soon as possible they came back to give us a detailed explanation of how she was and the next steps. At each point we were able to ask questions and have open discussions about finances and the various procedures she needed. Whilst she was staying at the Ralph we received daily calls where we got a detailed update on Roo's condition, any testing or scans that had been done and how they felt she was generally speaking. We could ask questions and express our concerns without ever feeling rushed despite the vets being undoubtedly busy. Even during surgery, we got a call to provide us with a live update and discuss the surgeons thoughts on what was best to do with the provider. Roo was back with us after a week and a week after being home was basically fully recovered. The Ralph is a wonderful place full of dedicated and incredibly skilled people who love and care for animals in such a special way. We cannot thank them enough for saving our little pup.
We were referred to The Ralph by our vet last week. Our little dog Mojo couldn't pee and was in great pain. On arrival we were seen almost immediately. After discussing matters with one of the vets it was decided to keep him in for possible surgery. Later that day they contacted us to let us know he had stones in his bladder and that they would operate the next day. They called again later to say he was OK and resting. They called again the next day to let us know he was going to be operated on later that day. Communication was second to none. They let us know when the surgery had taken place and that it was a success and rang us later to let us know he was doing. They called us the following morning to let us know that we could pick him up. I just want to say thank you for saving our Mojo. He is recovering well and nearly back to normal. In fact better than normal. He is now a super pee-er💖! The Ralph is an exceptional place and worth every penny.
Abuse people's trust & neglect there pets.. Left my dog in their care whilst going away after my father dying of cancer was provided all the food necessary for her stay with the sitter Elliott used through the ralph & my dog was returned to me 2kg underweight.. when complained & raised concerns about this I was completely ignored & dismissed my Boston Terrier weights 10kg her normal weight & when returned was 8kg skin & bones emaciated lost 20% of her overall bodyweight in 6 weeks 😡
These people are in a position of trust so to be told to get over it & the dog will put the weight back on is completely disrespectful & inappropriate all I've had are excuses.
Thanks Megan you think you can just ignore people & draw a line under it & no it wasn't free & they lost out on £1000 donation.
Any dog owner who would leave there dog in someone else's care for it to be treated in such a poor manner would be angry & you cannot just dismiss that 😊
& what's even worse she was left with the owner of this so called charity

We cannot thank the team at The Ralph Veterinary Referral Centre enough for the care they gave to our beloved Zorro.
From the moment he was admitted, the level of compassion, professionalism and communication was outstanding. Irene, in particular, was the most lovely, caring and attentive vet. She treated Zorro with such gentleness and respect, and she treated us with equal kindness during an incredibly difficult time.
We received regular updates throughout his stay, which meant everything to us. The team even sent beautiful photos, allowing us to see him and feel connected while he was being cared for. Every step of his diagnosis was explained clearly and thoroughly — we felt fully informed and supported in understanding his condition and our options.
Although the outcome was not the one we had hoped for, we are so grateful that Zorro was seen at The Ralph. The standard of care was exceptional, and we truly could not have asked for more.
We wholeheartedly recommend The Ralph to anyone needing specialist veterinary care. They are compassionate, professional, and truly outstanding at what they do.
Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our boy.
Lots of Love
Maria, Gina, Jess and of course Zorro xx
Melissa Lee and her team deserve the utmost recognition, respect and praise from all pet owners across the board. They acted fast, with empathy and professionalism with my cat who could have lost her eye if it weren't for their immediate and urgent care. They operated on my cat within hours on the same day and have done a fantastic job. They really do care and they really are experts in their fields. Thank you so much. My family and I are indebted to them for saving my cat and for being there when we needed them.
Ralphs Clinic has been incredible in helping our Frenchie, Boris, who is still going through treatment for eye ulcers. Eva and Tyler in ophthalmology have been amazing, caring, knowledgeable, and so supportive. Boris was seen as an emergency within just two hours on a Saturday, and the facilities are honestly better than our own hospitals! Modern, spotless, and incredibly well equipped. We’re so grateful for the care Boris is receiving and highly recommend Ralphs Clinic.
Thank you team!

Hi! My name is Ralph (but you can call me Ralphie 🥰). I’m actually named after this hospital because the amazing humans here saved my life!!! 🥹💖 I would give them all the stars in the night sky if I could, because without them… I wouldn’t be here today. 🌟 Thank you to all of my heroes for your kindness, love, and care. 🌹💝
Our black lab spent nearly three weeks at Ralph Pet Hospital after a terrifying episode where he vomited a large amount of blood. From the very moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, professional, and incredibly reassuring. They stood by us during one of the hardest times of our lives, helping us navigate agonizing decisions with compassion and clarity.
Our boy underwent two major surgeries and received multiple blood transfusions. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the team, we were able to bring him back home—something we will be forever grateful for. But even if the outcome had been different, our gratitude would remain the same. The level of dedication, care, and genuine love they showed our dog was extraordinary.
A special thank-you to Marisa and Martha from the Critical Unit, who fought so hard to save our boy and cared for him as if he were their own. And to Meghan from finance, whose support and guidance made it possible for us to pursue the treatment he needed.
Ralph Pet Hospital is filled with exceptional people who go above and beyond for both their patients and their humans. We can’t recommend them highly enough. They gave us hope, strength, and ultimately, more precious time with our beloved lab.
Attentive staff took great care of Hunter, gave him the needed scans and delivered the results in a kind, professional manner.
