Companion Care (Aylesbury) Ltd describes itself as locally owned and is set up as a modern, well‑equipped small-animal practice with substantial in‑house diagnostics (including digital X‑ray, ultrasound and an in‑house lab) and surgical capability (operating theatre; soft-tissue and orthopaedic procedures listed). Out‑of‑hours emergencies are handled externally by Vets Now Hemel Hempstead (as stated on the website).
In the latest reviews available to us, owners give concrete examples of handling nervous/fearful dogs during routine care (a booster vaccination completed without a muzzle by covering the dog’s eyes), longer-term continuity with a named vet (Oliver, mentioned as seeing a dog “for the last 12 years”), and support through serious illness and end‑of‑life care (a mouth lump diagnosed as cancer and later ashes collection). Reviews also conflict on the cost/communication around money, with one reviewer describing the phone interaction as prioritising money and calling the practice “expensive.”
Based on the clinic website summary and the reviews, services and facilities mentioned include
4.4 stars from 391 reviews. “”

Just wanted to thank the lovely vet we saw this morning for my dogs booster vaccinations. My dog has had a few bad experiences at the vets and has become fearful of them, I have to sedate him and muzzle him just so the vet can examine him . Today was great no muzzle, just covered his eyes and it was all done. Thank you so much .

Brilliant care from vets, especially Oliver - who has been seeing my dog for the last 12 years. Reception staff are always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately an interaction with a veterinary nurse yesterday has resulted in a star being deducted.

The staff at Companion Care Aylesbury were amazing . Not our normal vets as we were visiting family and had to take our dog (Max) as he had developed a lump in his mouth which unfortunately turned out to be cancer. From the first visit to collecting his ashes today all the staff have been caring and helpful, nothing was too much trouble . Thank you for helping us through this difficult time .

Amazing service. Was seen today by Oliver, couldn’t fault him. Gave me great advice on treatment plans and assessed/treated my pet with a caring holistic approach. Couldn’t be happier with the level of service and care.

I can't sleep because of this vets. Thanks for the stress and the lady on the phone making it clear money is more important than actually helping my doggy. If I have a fit at all in the next 24 hours because of the stress I will personally blame this place. Your cost are so expensive and you dont help in the long run I've had enough. At this rate your gonna make me ill. I don't recommend this place at all

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving shadow a new bill of health, she is 22 1/2 years old & we truly thought we would not be bringing her home. She is now snuggled in her bed after having a lump removed by Alan Reeves & looked after by Robin. Both showed love, respect & professionalism in their work. Thank you
